Customs Forum 2026: LISBON

Customs Forum: the essential meeting to understand the present and the future of foreign trade

The Customs Forum has established itself as the premier annual event for foreign trade, logistics and customs professionals.

Organized by the General Council of Customs Brokers, it brings together experts, companies, logistics operators and authorities to discuss the challenges and trends that will mark the future of the sector. Since its creation in 1995, the Customs Forum has been a key meeting point for the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

The last meeting of the Customs Forum was the XXI edition, held from November 13 to 15, 2025 in A Coruña, with the participation of more than 250 professionals. It addressed key issues such as sustainability, digitalization, traceability of supply chains and cooperation between customs authorities.

The Forum is of great interest to companies because the discussions and decisions taken directly affect customs regulations and international trade. Aspects such as the update of the EUDR Regulation, the implementation of digital control systems in the EU and the evolution of the Customs Code will be key for the daily operations of companies. Being aware of these changes allows you to anticipate new challenges and improve operational efficiency.

A major announcement was the designation of Lisbon as the venue for the Forum in 2026, which will give way to an Iberian Customs Forum and strengthen collaboration between Spain and Portugal on customs issues. This will enable companies in both countries to better understand common regulations and joint initiatives that will influence their operations.

Vicasso International actively participated in the Customs Forum in accordance with our commitment to constant updating. We keep abreast of the latest trends in customs, logistics and international trade to offer the best service to our customers.
